Digital India- Let's talk!

There is whole lot of craze going around in the whole country about "Digital India", so let's brake it down so it's easy to understand. I will include my opinion on how things can be improved more quickly. Obviously I am not taking in account the time constraint that our policy makers are having to look into these issues as they have major things to look for than this, but let's dive deep and know something so that we have a clear opinion of ourselves.
Their are many benefits of Digital India campaign which includes creating more white collar jobs, improving the average wage of an individual hence overall increasing the quality of life for an individual. As India is a land of creative people, we can come up with pretty good solutions to biggest world problems, and digital India will provide a platform as well as opportunities for the same. When we think of digital India we tend to think digital payment and stuffs we can do online, but that is not it. It's main motive is to make the technology available to Indian masses from which it is still a far head dream. To some extend we can say that we are moving on the right path in bringing people closer to being digital!, but like every good thing this also comes with some major drawbacks most prominent of it being the lack of education that the Indian masses are missing. In this age of digital India, they can easily be exploited, so we don't need any robust solution as the problem can be dealt by providing education to more and more people.
At last I would like to conclude by saying that we don't need to waste our money on promoting Digital India, but instead put that money in education of some underprivileged people. Because education is the only way we are truly going to become digital.

You have to dream before your dreams can come true.
~Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam
(11th President of India)
